For planning purposes, it would be nice to know if Darren Waller is going to return or retire.
He might not make a decision until well into the summer.
Without him, the Giants need another pass-catching option at this position.
They have Daniel Bellinger (55 career receptions, two touchdowns), entering his third year, and Lawrence Cager (mostly a special teamer last season), and they signed Chris Manhertz and Jack Stoll as low-cost (and likely low-impact) free-agent additions.
At No. 6 overall, pass-catching weapon Brock Bowers should be there, but there are greater needs to fill elsewhere on the depth chart.

Ja’Tavion Sanders (Texas) would have to be taken in the second round, which is probably too high, given positional value.
A Day 3 pick of Ben Sinnott (Kansas State), Cade Stover (Ohio State) or Erick All (Iowa) — if All clears the medical testing — would not be surprising.
