They did it again.
The Knicks pulled off another massive comeback — the signature of their pixie-dusted playoff run — on Sunday night to win Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals, overcoming a 20-point deficit in an improbable (or was it?) 106-100 win over the Pacers in Indianapolis.
The Knicks, despite unveiling a new starting lineup without Josh Hart, trailed by 20 after Tyrese Haliburton’s pick-two late in the second quarter, by 15 after an annoying T.J. McConnell pullup with 3:11 left in the third and by 10 at the start of the fourth quarter.
Down 2-0, they were staring at a 3-0 series deficit that no NBA team ever has overcome.
