A hole in the back end of the defense was filled <a href="https://nypost.com/2025/03/11/sports/giants-land-dolphins-star-safety-jevon-holland-in-nfl-free-agency/">with the signing of Jevon Holland</a>, who arrived from the Dolphins as a strong player and leader. 

He will step directly into a prominent starting role created when Jason Pinnock was not pursued in free agency. 

Holland will team with Tyler Nubin, who as a rookie started the first 13 games before going down with an ankle injury that required surgery.

For three seasons, Dane Bolton has not been able to hold onto a starting job and he returns again in a reserve role. 

Using a Day 3 NFL draft pick on Lathan Ransom (Ohio State) or R.J.
