NextImg:What do tickets cost to see the Chiefs vs. Dolphins AFC Wild Card game?

It’s a long road back to the Super Bowl.

After winning the last two games of the season, the Kansas City Chiefs finished the year 11-6, which landed them the number three spot in the AFC and home field advantage at Arrowhead Stadium.

Now, their first step toward playoff glory will take place Saturday, Jan. 13 when they take on the Miami Dolphins, who also finished 11-6 on the year after losing their final two games of the season as well as the AFC East crown in the process.

Most recently, the teams met in Germany on Nov. 5, 2023; Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs came away with a 21-14 victory behind coach Andy Reid’s defensive plan to shut down Dolphins star receiver — and former Chief — Tyreek Hill.

“They had a really good plan,” Hill shared on his ‘It Needed to be Said’ podcast. “Their whole plan was to get hands on me and keep a safety up over top the whole game. They did a real good job of that.”

Yet, once the playoffs begin, anything can happen.

Will Travis Kelce’s significant other Taylor Swift make an apperance? Can the Chiefs defense shut Hill down again?

All we know is the best way to find out is live.

And if you want to be there, it isn’t too late to secure last-minute seats.

At the time of publication, tickets can be found going for as low as $88 before fees on Vivid Seats.

100-level seats start at $194 before fees.

As noted above, the Chiefs beat the Dolphins 21-14 on Nov. 5 at Frankfurt’s Deutsche Bank Park.

In the game, Kansas City rushed to a 21-0 lead before Tua Tagovailoa and Miami mounted a too little, too late 14-point comeback in the fourth quarter.

“Obviously, penalties and then me not connecting on guys deep down the field hurt us, but luckily for us our defense is playing their tail off and we got the win,” Mahomes said.

For once, you won’t be able to catch a major NFL game on CBS, Fox or NBC.

According to the NY Post, the Chiefs-Dolphins game is streaming exclusively on Peacock.

The rights to the game cost the streamer $110 million.

However, if you’re in Kansas City or Miami, you won’t need to download Peacock just yet.

“The exception will be in the local markets; fans in the Kansas City and Miami areas will be able to watch the game for free on their local NBC affiliates,” the Post reported.
