Night of Champions was certainly another improvement on the level of show and important storyline progression coming out of Saudi Arabia.

The King and Queen of the Ring finals were quality bouts with the expected winners earning championship matches at SummerSlam.

Seeing Jacob Fatu drop the United States championship was a bit stunning, but ultimately needed. The finish to the main event will be debated for years since it was the end to John Cena and CM Punk’s legendary feud. It was overbooked but with a purpose.

More importantly, we see the tide turning with Cena as he’s starting to at least second guess his heel decision and could find himself squaring off with a heel faction.
