Labor Day weekend offered an all-you-can-eat buffet of sensational college football action. But that was merely an appetizer because the first game of the 24-25 NFL season takes place on Thursday, September 5 as Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs host Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens!

Thursday’s marquee matchup is a rematch of last year’s AFC title game, a 17-10 Chiefs victory. Last season, Baltimore won the AFC North, Kansas City captured the AFC West crown, and both teams are primed for an AFC Championship Game rematch.

Thursday Night Football games will once again air on Prime Video for the 24-25 season but that begins in Week 2. Where can you watch the first game of the NFL season? What channel will the Chiefs/Ravens game be on? Here’s everything you need to know.

This week’s Thursday night game airs Thursday, September 5 on NBC, NFL+, and Peacock.

You can stream this week’s Chiefs/Ravens matchup live on NBC.com or the NBC app (with a cable login) or via a subscription to Peacock Premium ($7.99/month or $79.99/year).

Beginning with Week 2’s Bills/Dolphins matchup, TNF will air on Prime Video.

Amazon Prime is available for $14.99/month or $139/year, with a standalone Prime Video membership also an option for $8.99/month. An ad-free version is available for an additional $2.99/month.

Finally, Amazon offers a discounted student option for $7.49/month or $69/year, and EBT, Medicaid, SNAP, and other select government assistance recipients can qualify for a reduced $6.99/month membership. You can sample the streamer with a 30-day free trial.
