The NFL season is well past the midway point; before we know it, the season will be over.
But that is not this day.
This weekend, we get to Week 10, where some of the league’s best teams are on a bye week.
If you’re like me and fantasy football season is already over for you, sports betting on the player props is the place to be.
We have been profitable this season, but have fallen on hard times the last two weeks.
On the season, we are 19-26 (42.2 percent) and up 9.46 units.
Never hide from the results ladies and gents.
Budding Texans receiver Nico Collins is out and aging wideout Robert Woods is questionable with a foot injury.
In steps Noah Brown, who impressed and was busy in last week’s shootout with the Buccaneers.
Another shootout should be in store this weekend opposite the Bengals defense, which has allowed 6.4 yards per play in their last three games (second worst in the NFL).
Their defense is wildly overrated, and Brown should clear 40.5 receiving yards relatively easily.
Tee Higgins is out and Ja’Marr Chase is questionable this weekend in the aforementioned shootout between the Bengals and Texans.
This bet is here because frankly, the odds are just too good to turn down.
Irwin to score a touchdown at +390 is phenomenal value considering most other books have it under +300 and his 45/1 prop to score two is more than double what Caesars Sportsbook has for the prop.
With Higgins out, Irwin had a 76 percent snap share.
A player getting that kind of work should never be +390 to score and is getting disrespected at 45/1. Take the value spot here with a few smaller wagers.
You may not have heard of him, but taking over the Isaiah McKenzie/Cole Beasley role in Buffalo is none-other than Khalil Shakir.
Last week Shakir set a season-high snap count last week at 71 percent and has seen at least four targets in three straight weeks.
The Denver Broncos defense has been a disaster for most of the season, ranking 31nd in DVOA and 32nd against the pass.
In a must win game on “Monday Night Football,” he is in prime position to continue as Josh Allen’s security blanket.
