I will be defending my Crocs until I die.

This is not something I’ve always been proud to say, but, as a Post Wanted shopping reporter, I must do my diligence and admit that there is truly no shoe as comfortable, agile, and surprisingly lovable as Crocs.

America’s unisex sandal-clogs are hauntingly reminiscent of my elementary years spent running around the playground trading the highly sought-after Jibbitz charms. While much has changed about fashion and footwear trends since childhood, even as an adult, I feel oddly drawn to these shoes, with their boxy builds, ventilation pores, and removable back straps.

So, while I consider them a guilty pleasure, I’d also have to argue that any shoe that costs less than $35 requires no guilt at all.
