On Sept. 17, Lorde kicked off her 2025 ‘Ultrasound World Tour’ at Austin’s Moody Center.
That evening, she performed 23 songs over four acts, according to Set List FM. Fan favorites like “Royals,” “Green Light” and “Team” all made the cut; so did “Hammer,” “Man of the Year,” “What Was That” and more from her recently-released 2025 album “Virgin.”
Critics were enthralled.
“Whether running on a treadmill while belting ‘Supercut,’ singing in Calvin Klein boxers, or encouraging thousands of strangers to scream ‘The Louvre’ at once, Lorde transformed the arena into a confessional space,” the Austin American-Statesman wrote in a review of the ambitious concert.
Now, with eight sonically-adventurous shows under her belt, the two-time Grammy winner is on the East Coast leg of the nationwide run, which includes concerts at Philadelphia’s Xfinity Mobile Arena on Tuesday, Sept. 30 and New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, Oct. 1 with special guests Japanese House and Chanel Beads.
Then, a little over two months later, she’ll close the trek in The Big Apple with a pair of gigs at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Tuesday, Dec. 16 and Wednesday, Dec. 17. Special guests have yet to be announced.
If you’d like to see her perform live at any of her 27 remaining shows this year — which includes nine overseas gigs in England, Italy and Germany — tickets are available for all remaining ‘Ultrasound’ concerts.
At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on tickets for any one North American show was $42 including fees on Vivid Seats.

On June 27, Lorde released her fourth studio album “Virgin.”
In just 35 short minutes, the veteran hitmaker holds our hand through euphoric dance anthems, confessional lyrics and sparse background breakbeats making for a truly dynamic listening experience that may end up being in the conversation for record of the year.
Just a few of favorites here include the skittering, nervy EDM/pop crossover “Hammer,” the innovative “Shapeshifter” (which employs a tinny backing beat behind crisp vocals) and soaring, electronic ballad “Man Of The Year.”
Still, the true standout here is the breakout hit “What Was That.”
The 3.5-minute track starts small with a sparse ping pong-y backbeat behind Lorde’s laid back vocals. Around the 45-second mark, “What Was That” begins building to a fever pitch with urgent, vivid lyrics like “MDMA in the back garden, blow our pupils up/We kissed for hours straight, well, baby, what was that?” detailing a confusing relationship. Before you know it, the bop has gone full-blown dance pop.
And, my goodness, do yourself a favor and stick around to the end to make sure you don’t miss out on “David,” which borders on a religious listening experience with its soul-stirring instrumentals.
If you’d like to give the record a spin, you can find “Virgin” here.
At all shows, Lorde will follow an opening act or two.
