We can already hear “Rah – rah for Notre Dame!”
On Saturday, Sept. 7, the Fighting Irish will play their first home game of the 2024 season against the Northern Illinois Huskies at South Bend’s Notre Dame Stadium and there’s reason to be excited.
Before the first official game of the season, the team is ranked No. 7 in the country, coming off a commanding 40-8 Sun Bowl victory over Oregon State and handing the reins over to new starting quarterback Riley Leonard.
Coach Marcus Freeman is optimistic, too.
“This is the healthiest fall camp since I’ve been head coach,” he shared in a press conference. “We’ve had the fewest injuries in, I think, 15 years.”
A few key players did get hurt — Chance Tucker, Charles Jagusah and Marty Auer — over the past few weeks, but that isn’t stopping the highly-ranked team from getting down on themselves.
And, if you want to be there to root them on at The House that Rockne Built, tickets are available for all six 2024 home games.
That includes biggies against Louisville (Sept. 28), Stanford (Oct. 12) and Florida State (Nov. 9).
Based on our findings, the lowest price we could find on home game tickets was $56 before fees on Vivid Seats at the time of publication.
Other games have seats starting anywhere from $71 to $231 before fees.
