NextImg:We booked a beach vacation — but didn’t realize it was Spring Break

Spring Break, forever?

An adult couple went viral on TikTok after sharing how they “accidentally” ended up on a wild trip for spring break last week — despite the fact that they hadn’t celebrated the holiday since their school years.

“When you accidentally go on spring break,” the duo, Dalton and Sake, captioned a video on TikTok which shows them at Panama City Beach in Florida, surrounded by crowds of nearly naked Spring Breakers.

“What are you looking at?” Sako asks her fiancé in the clip as he stares down a group of young women walking on the beach.

Dalton lamely attempts to play it off by claiming he was mesmerized by “the ocean,” which, as Sako points out, was in the opposite direction of his gaze.

“The ocean is that way,” she says, directing the camera lens to the ocean and then at the group of young women on the other side of the shore.

Dalton and Sako shared that they “accidentally” ended up on Spring Break in one of the most notorious party destinations in the US.

Although the couple wasn’t on a weeklong hiatus from classes, they tried to join in on the fun — but struggled to match the energy of the wild partiers vacationing at the notorious Spring Break destination.

In a follow-up video, Sako records herself sitting at a picnic table as Dalton sleeps next to her sitting with his head in his hands — captioning, “When you try to party with 20-year-olds on Spring Break.”

The couple had fun with the unplanned turn of events as they posted TikTok videos of themselves trying to keep up with the young partiers.

“Hey, you tapping out already?” she teases. “Boy you’ve only had three drinks and you’re ready for a nap. If you can’t hang with the big dogs you better stay your ass on the porch.”

She nudges him until he wakes up, insisting “it’s not sleep o’clock. It’s party o’clock.”

Dalton rouses slowly, seemingly in a daze. Nevertheless, Sako is ready to try to keep up with the young Spring Breakers, as viewers on TikTok see her singing and dancing along to the music playing around them.

Dalton and Sako ultimately tapped out when the Spring Breakers huddled in a circle and broke out into coordinated fights on the beach.

Clips of their time at Panama City Beach gained hundreds of thousands of views from those eager to follow along the couple’s unexpected adult Spring Break trip.

Their followers commiserated with similar tales of ill-dated vacations.

“Accidentally went to Bike Week at Daytona Beach last year lol so I feel. ya,” one shared. Confessed another, “Haha I accidentally took my 8-year-old to Mardi Gras lol.”

But Dalton and Sako didn’t seem to mind the fun-loving (and probably drunk) crowds enjoying Panama City Beach alongside them — though they missed out on this year’s more brutal event: a Florida “fight club.”

Dalton and Sako sat safely on their balcony as they watched and recorded a video for TikTok showing a veritable mosh pit of Spring Breakers, rushing and tackling each other in the middle of a large crowd of onlookers — what they dubbed the “circle of death.”

Scantily clad Spring Break revelers have recently gone viral as they let out pent-up rage in coordinated boozy beach brawls. Some have vaguely attempted to run “Oklahoma drills” — an American football practice technique used to test players in confined full-contact situations — or play Rugby in the sand, while others have shown up with boxing gloves ready down for a showdown.

The couple didn’t go shot for shot with the Spring Breakers — at the bar or in the ring — but they did entertain themselves and thousands of viewers during their accidental Spring Break.

Next year, they might consider joining this group of adult Spring Breakers who meet in annually in Sandestin, Florida.
