The View co-hosts offered their condolences to Charlie Kirk‘s family and condemned political violence after the 31-year-old conservative was shot and killed during a public appearance this week. But that was not enough for one content creator by the name of Damon Imani, who is going viral for his dramatic response to Whoopi Goldberg, Sunny Hostin and their co-hosts after he seemingly edited himself into the show’s segment.

The clip, which reportedly has 4.1 million views on X alone, shows Imani edited into the broadcast, seemingly listening on as Goldberg and Hostin addressed Kirk’s death. The shoddy editing job combined with Imani’s statements against The View has left many believing the content creator actually appeared on the ABC talk show.

While many in the replies also acknowledged that the video was edited, several users praised him for his statements against the View co-hosts, whether or not it was real.

On Rumble, Imani notes the video is “satire,” and features “Damon Imani’s footage inserted into The View to offer counterarguments to the hosts’ points on the show.”

No. Imani is a self-described producer and commentator who regularly edits himself into clips from The View.

In the clip, Imani claps back after Hostin confesses, “I cannot believe that someone would kill another person because they were speaking their beliefs.”

“Well, for years you and your allies in the media have been conditioning half the country against the president, his supporters and figures like Charlie Kirk,” Imani says in the video, before rattling off several talking points he believes they make on The View: “Trump is Hitler, his supporters are fascists, right wing extremism is dangerous to our country.”

He continues, “Yet you seriously sit here acting surprised when lunatics who believe your words decide to take matters into your own hands. Your side burn and loot every time things don’t go your way, your side tried to assassinate the president multiple times. Your side burned Teslas all around the country and wanted [Elon Musk] dead. Your side assassinated Charlie Kirk and your side is currently celebrating.”

The edited video also includes the host’s silently reacting to his statement as he continues.

He later slammed their “crocodile tears” and accused Goldberg, Hostin, Joy Behar and Alyssa Farah Griffin of “pretending” to be in mourning.

He concludes his viral video with a pitiless message: “And for that, fuck you, you, you, and you in the corner too.”
