NextImg:Walt Disney’s actual storybook mansion is now up for rent at $40K/month

Walt Disney’s storybook home in Los Feliz, California has hit the rental market for $40,000 per month.

This is the home where the American entrepreneur lived the longest while raising his daughters, Diane and Sharon, from 1932 to 1950.

Made up of four bedrooms and five baths, the property was the inspiration for the iconic animated film “Snow White.”

Diane and Sharon Disney’s original playhouse still sits at the property. Located at 4053 Woking Way, the home is also where his daughters inspired him to pursue “Mary Poppins” and “Winnie the Pooh” as the two girls’ bedrooms are aptly named.

The house is referred to as Disney’s “Storybook Mansion” or “Storybook Cottage.”

Chase Campen at Compass holds the listing.

“This property was chosen by Walt Disney as the place to raise his family, and also coincided with a transition of Disney Studios from fledgling enterprise toward entertainment giant,” Campen told The Post in a statement. “It sits on an acre of land with incredible outdoor space and city views. Its historical pedigree only adds to the magical mystique.”

“The best feature… [is] a theater in its original design — with modern updates —  that Walt himself used to watch dailies of his productions. The original screen is still in place!”

Occupying over 6,300 square feet, the French Country Tudor, Neo Gothic-style home features a gated driveway with parking for 10 cars.

There is a two-story living room and two wings within the home. Additionally, the outdoor grounds feature well-landscaped walkways, a pool and a trellis-covered dining area, the listing notes.

Designed by Frank Crowhurst, one wing of the house offers a dining room with French doors to the outside and a painted ceiling set amid interlaced beams. This leads to an eat-in kitchen with a center island, high-end stainless appliances, marble counters, custom cabinets, a walk-in pantry and stained glass windows.

The opposite wing features the movie theater and powder room.

Upstairs holds the primary suite, which boasts city views, several closets and a bathroom featuring dual vanities, a large dual-head shower, a centerpiece tub and period tile. The other wing on the second level features two guest bedrooms.

Completing the upstairs is a sun-lit family room with vaulted ceilings and access to a former sleeping porch.
