Police are searching for a pair of robbers who burst into a Queens smoke shop brandishing a gun and ransacked the business, getting away with more than $10,000 worth of merchandise.
The brazen daytime heist occurred shortly after 2 p.m. Thursday at Puffume Smoke Shop at 43-45 44th Street.
As seen in a surveillance video released by the NYPD Friday, two masked bandits entered the shop, where one of them pulled a silver handgun on a 21-year-old female clerk.
The duo then proceeded to pilfer goods valued at $10,500, the police said.
The crooks fled the scene with their loot in tow in a white 2014 Honda Accord with New York license plates, traveling south on 44th Street, according to the NYPD.
The store clerk was not hurt during the daytime robbery.
One of the suspects was described as a man with a dark complexion and a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black face mask, a blue hooded sweatshirt, a black backpack, pink gloves, black pants and black shoes. He was carrying a gun.
His accomplice, a thin man with large black hair, was last seen wearing a white face mask, a black t-shirt, black gloves and black pants.
Police are asking for the public’s help with tracking down the two robbery suspects.
