Video of a shooting in Fort Worth, Texas, on Monday captures complete chaos as people scatter to avoid a hail of bullets shot indiscriminately into the crowd by a group of gunmen.

The assailants, who killed three and wounded eight others, remain on the run, according to local reports.

In the video attendees of the ComoFest festival running for cover — including a small child pushed up against a wall in order to shield them from bullets, according to Dallas station Fox station.

“Ran this way because I knew my kids was down here,” Ka’Desha Weatherly, the mother of Paul Willis, 18, who was killed told WFAA.

“So I walked past my son. Girls were holding him crying. I didn’t even know my baby was on the ground.”

The mother revealed her son had recently graduated from high school and had dreams of becoming an electrician, according to the Dallas Morning News.

“They didn’t even let my baby make it to college,” Weatherly told the outlet. “I just want people to remember his name and not just an 18-year old-victim.”

Cynthia Quadalupe Santos, 22, was identified as a second victim, family members confirmed to the local paper.

“She was a hard worker,” cousin Tania Torres recalled. “She was always supporting me and my crazy ideas. I loved her like a sister.”

The third person killed has not yet been identified.

Meanwhile, police continued to ask for the public’s help — admitting they still didn’t know much information about the shooters involved.

“We don’t know if this is domestic-related, if it is gang-related…it is too early to tell at this point,” Captain Shawn Murray with the Fort Worth Police Department said in an interview with the Fox station.

“We just know somebody shot and multiple times and a bunch of people were injured. Hopefully it is just a single shooter and wasn’t a crossfire situation.”

The condition of eight others hurt in the shooting is unknown.

The tragedy came at the end of ComoFest, a yearly Fourth of July celebration in the historically Black area of Fort Worth.
