Venom: The Last Dance is releasing on digital platforms this week, just in time for you to spend the holidays with your favorite odd couple, Eddie Brock and alien symbiote known as Venom.
The third and final movie in the Tom Hardy’s Venom franchise, The Last Dance picks up where Venom: Let There Be Carnage left off. Written and directed by Kelly Marcel, who also wrote the story with Hardy, this third movie finds journalist Eddie Brock (Hardy) on the run with his new alien pal that sometimes takes over his body. Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple, Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu, Alanna Ubach, and Stephen Graham also star in the Venom 3 cast.
Even though critics didn’t like this third Venom movie, it was a box office hit, earning over $472.8 million at the worldwide box office. And now the movie has the chance to even more money, with the premium video-on-demand release.
But before you fork over $25 to watch the new Venom movie at home, you should know that Venom: The Last dance will soon be streaming free on Netflix.
Beginning on Tuesday, December 10 at 12 a.m. Eastern Time (which is also Monday, December 9 at 9 p.m. Pacific Time) Venom: The Last Dance will be available to buy and rent digitally on Amazon Prime, Apple TV, Vudu, and more.
The price may vary depending on which platform you use to purchase the film, but on Amazon Prime the movie will cost $19.99 to rent, and $24.99 to buy. If you rent the movie, you will have a 48-hour window to watch it after you hit “play.”
Venom: The Last Dance is not currently streaming free on any of the subscription-based streaming services. However, if you don’t want to pay to buy or rent the movie, we do expect to see Venom: The Last Dance streaming on Netflix in the near future.

Venom: The Last Dance will likely be on Netflix in the new year. Netflix has a deal with Sony Pictures that gives the streamer the rights to the Sony movies in the “Pay 1” window, meaning the first streaming window after the film’s home media release. Other recent Sony movies, including Harold and the Purple Crayon and Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, came to Netflix about four months after opening in theaters.
If Venom: The Last Dance follows this same release pattern, you can expect Venom: The Last Dance to stream on Netflix around late February 2025, aka four months after the movie opened in theaters in late October. It will be free to stream for anyone with a Netflix subscription.
In the meantime, you can watch the Venom: The Last Dance movie online by buying or renting the movie on digital platforms.
