Luckily, fixing this fashion mission wasn’t impossible.
Vanessa Kirby suffered a wardrobe malfunction at the “Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part One” premiere on Monday at the Rose Theater in New York City, accidentally turning her slip dress into a strapless design.
Kirby, 35, hit the red carpet in a stunning nude Schiaparelli silk spaghetti strap dress sans bra, and as her strap slipped down her shoulders, she was forced to hold up her dress to avoid baring her bosom.
Luckily, the star — who plays Alanna Mitsopolis in the action movie — was wearing dramatic black opera gloves that helped shield her chest from the cameras.
One fan account shared a snap of the mishap on Twitter with the caption, “Vanessa Kirby fighting with her dress, as always…”
A supporter commented, “imagine her b00b flashing during the mi7 premiere,” as the fan account responded, “god forbid.”
It appears Kirby must have fixed her broken strap as she could be seen inside the screening looking in tact once again.
The “Mission: Impossible” cast has been making the rounds while promoting the summer action movie, posing together on the red carpet in Seoul, South Korea, in June and stepping out for the world premiere in Rome.

Kirby stars alongside franchise regular Tom Cruise, as well as Hayley Atwell and Rebecca Ferguson in the seventh movie in the franchise, which hits theaters tomorrow.
The “Crown” star has been stunning on the red carpets while promoting the movie, and has been her only sartorial snafu.
Clearly the actress proved she definitely has what it takes to play an action star with her quick reflexes.
