Vanessa Bryant enjoyed her honey deuce as baseless rumors swirled that she could be pregnant with her fifth baby, five years after late husband Kobe Bryant’s tragic death.
The widow, who attended Saturday’s women’s final at the U.S. Open between world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka and American Amanda Anisimova, said she’s been dealing with the same “imaginary pregnancy rumor” for over two decades.
“Enjoying my honey deuce,” Vanessa, 43, wrote on her Instagram Story, including a tennis ball emoji and a snapshot of her holding the famous U.S. Open signature drink.
“Keep me posted on how this imaginary pregnancy rumor is coming along. 24 years later….same rumor.”
Kobe was one of nine people killed in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, Calif., on Jan. 26, 2020.
The tragedy also took the life of his and Vanessa’s 13-year-old daughter, Gianna “Gigi” Bryant.
The Lakers legend was 41 years old.
Vanessa and her daughters, Capri and Bianka, took in the action from the Emirates suite at Arthur Ashe Stadium, where Sabalenka defended her U.S. Open title with a 6-3, 7-6 (3) victory over Anisimova in 94 minutes.
Vanessa and Kobe’s eldest daughter, 22-year-old Natalia Bryant, was seen in the suite in another image.
It was a rematch of Wimbledon 2025, where Anisimova upset Sabalenka, of Belarus, in a semifinal showdown in July.
This isn’t the first time Vanessa addressed pregnancy rumors on social media.
In June, she posted a meme of Rihanna flipping her middle finger while carrying a drink with the caption, “Me protecting my peace, not pregnant & having fun all summer.”
Vanessa has not publicly dated anyone since Kobe’s death.
