Rachel Leviss hasn’t elicited the best reactions from her Vanderpump Rules co-stars in regard to her not returning for the show’s upcoming Season 11. The series matriarch, Lisa Vanderpump, asserted “there’s no point” in her returning, while Scheana Shay went so far as to release a diss track about her. However, one of her co-stars still believes Leviss “should have come back.”

On Wednesday’s episode of her Give Them Lala podcast, Lala Kent opened up about Leviss, who recently broke her silence on fellow former Bravo star Bethenny Frankel‘s Rewives podcast in a three-part interview, the first time she has spoken to the public since the .

“It is a travesty that [Leviss] didn’t end up coming back,” Kent shared. “She should have come back. I think she would have been very surprised. And instead she went and did this,” referring to Frankel’s podcast, “and she was manipulated yet again.”

While Kent noted that she hadn’t listened to the podcast, Jessica Walter, Kent’s co-host, noted that the “interview was frustrating” and that it seemed as though Frankel “didn’t do research” in advance.

“Scandoval was huge,” Walter noted, expressing how perplexed she was that “Bethenny was kind of doing the research while she was interviewing Rachel.”

“She had an agenda,” she continued, highlighting that Frankel “kept bringing things back to this ‘reality reckoning,'” which she admitted she does want to “hear about.”

Nonetheless, Kent did acknowledge that we all endure “moments where our voice is all we have,” and that Leviss “absolutely has that right” to share her side of the story.

“I am happy that she finally got to take advantage of a giant platform to tell her story,” she added. “I only saw clips [of the podcast] and what I gathered from it was Bethenny completely exploited that girl yet again.”

She explained that she doesn’t “think that reality TV is for everyone.”

“It is a very intense environment,” she continued. “If you are not mentally tough as fuck, it can break you. It definitely can.”

After highlighting that Leviss “made a decision to sleep with [her] best friend’s partner of 10 years,” referring to the affair that has been classified as Scandoval, Kent stated the obvious: that she “didn’t need to do that.”

“No one was forcing [her] to do it and no one asked [her] to do that,” Kent said.

Bringing the discussion back to Frankel, she noted “it felt like Bethenny was really trying to push her in a certain direction.”

Vanderpump Rules is streaming on Peacock.
