NextImg:Uruguay vs. Colombia odds, prediction: 2024 Copa America semifinals picks, best bets

It’s a box office battle between Uruguay and Colombia on Wednesday night in the final match of the Copa America semifinals.

The winner gets a date with powerhouse Argentina, who is fresh off a dominant 2-0 victory over Canada.

Uruguay is favored to qualify for that championship tilt with Argentina, coming in at -125 odds at Bet365 Sportsbook.

Wednesday night’s battle figures to be a doozy, as Colombia and Uruguay feature some of the high-powered offensive attacks throughout the international soccer landscape.

Colombia is the hottest team in soccer, carrying a 27-match undefeated streak (21-0-6).

Last time out, Colombia did what the U.S. Men’s National Team could not and made Panama look like an inferior squad that had no business being on the field with them.

Panama was blown off the field in the quarterfinals in a 5-0 throttling.

Is Colombia this dominant?

James Rodriguez looks to be playing the best international soccer of his career and has been aided by several budding stars on his side, including Liverpool forward Luis Díaz.

Meanwhile, Uruguay is in a tough spot without defender Ronald Arajuo, who will miss the game due to injury.

Colombia should have the upper hand on offense in this one, as Uruguay will badly miss Araujo.

Uruguay played a very ugly match against Brazil in the quarterfinals, and while we correctly predicted that match, it still wasn’t the best showing.

Given the missing defensive piece for Uruguay and strong attacking chops of Colombia, we’re looking at backing the underdog here to win in regulation at a massive underdog price.

Targeting Colombia winning in regulation with a date with Lionel Messi on tap.

Get your popcorn ready.
