Well, this isn’t going to do much to quell the trade chatter.
Star Dolphins receiver Tyreek Hill appeared visibly frustrated on the sideline Sunday as the Colts dominated Miami in its season opener, 33-8.
Hill, who was at the center of trade rumors this offseason, shook his hands in frustration while sitting on the bench beside a coach at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, where new Colts QB Daniel Jones had a dazzling, touchdown-filled debut.
The Super Bowl-winning wideout tallied just four receptions for 40 yards, including a 21-yard connection from quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
The Dolphins finally got on the board in the fourth quarter.
Tagovailoa, having a day to forget with two interceptions, was pulled from the game, with former Jets quarterback Zach Wilson entering in garbage time.
Hill, who was traded to the Dolphins in 2022 after winning a Super Bowl with the Chiefs, infamously declared in January that he was “out” after Miami missed the playoffs.
He worked to rebuild relationships with the Dolphins this offseason, but was not elected a team captain — a first in his tenure in Miami.
