Tyler Cameron has entered the chat. In response to The Golden Bachelor stars Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist ending their marriage after three months, the Bachelorette alum claimed they “put a stain on love and Bachelor Nation.”

Cameron, who was the runner-up contestant on Hannah Brown‘s 2019 season of The Bachelorette, opened up about the Golden Divorce while appearing on today’s episode of The Happy Hour on SiriusXM’s TODAY Show Radio.

“Three months?! They make all my relationships seem very long,” Cameron joked. “You know what I mean? Like, golly, I’m a dating expert compared to them.”

The former Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test star has certainly raked in a list of rumored girlfriends from model Gigi Hadid to Kylie Jenner‘s BFF Stassie Karanikolaou to Instagram influencer Paige Lorenze to Kristin Cavallari.

Despite being rather unlucky in the love department himself, Cameron wasted no time dragging Turner and Nist for taking The Golden Bachelor’s “wholesome” concept and putting “a stain” on the beloved franchise.

“It brought so much joy back to The Bachelor [where it wasn’t] people wanting to go on just to be influencers. That, like, brought joy and true love — that we thought,” he said. “And then they just pulled the rug right out from under us.”

Cameron then offered his take on why he thinks the estranged couple couldn’t stand the test of time, comparing them to his older father, who is “set in his ways.”

“Gerry and Theresa don’t want to change their ways,” he speculated. “He doesn’t want to leave Indiana where his family is and she doesn’t want to leave, I think she’s New Jersey, I heard … Like it’s just two stubborn old people, you know? And when you get older, you get more stubborn.”

Turner and Nist tied the knot in a televised special in January of this year —  and shocked the world when they announced their split on Friday’s (April 12) episode of Good Morning America.

“Theresa and I have had a number of heart-to-heart conversations, and we’ve looked closely at our situation, our living situation, so forth and we’ve kind of come to the conclusion mutually that it’s probably time for us to dissolve our marriage,” Turner announced, noting that he was “still in love” with Nist and that they were going to remain in each other’s lives.
