NextImg:Two men killed, woman wounded in NYC overnight shootings: cops

Two men were shot and killed when bullets flew early Saturday in Staten Island and Brooklyn, while a woman took a bullet to the leg in the Bronx, cops said.

Gunfire erupted after a fight broke out at a party inside Exquisite Event Space on Eastern Parkway near Atlantic Ave. in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, around 3:30 a.m., cops said. 

A man, 31, was shot in the stomach and rushed to Brookdale University Hospital but couldn’t be saved. The shooter ran off and there were no immediate arrests.

The victim’s identity was pending family notification.

Then, about an hour later, a 37-year-old man was shot in the head outside 772 Richmond Terrace in Richmond Terrace on Staten Island around 4:30 a.m.

The victim was taken to Richmond University Medical Center, where he died. Release of his identity was pending family notification.

He had one possession of marijuana arrest from 20 years ago and no recent arrests, but had several past interactions with police, a police source said. The nature of the interactions wasn’t clear.

About an hour after that, a 35-year-old woman was shot in the leg around 5:30 a.m. at 187th Street and Prospect Avenue in the Bronx, cops said.

She went to Jacobi Hospital by private means in stable condition, police said. The circumstances of the shooting were not immediately known, a police spokesman said.
