Two JetBlue planes collided on the tarmac of Boston’s Logan International Airport on Thursday morning, disrupting the travel plans of all of the passengers onboard.
Flight 777’s left winglet struck the right horizontal stabilizer of Flight 551 at around 6:40 a.m. while on the deicing pad, the Federal Aviation Administration said.
No injuries were reported.
One passenger, Dave Souter, was headed to Las Vegas to work at an event for the Super Bowl when the incident happened after they pulled away from the gate, he told Boston 25 News.
He said Flight 777 was full, as he was waiting to get back to the gate for another flight.
The other plane was headed to Orlando, Fl., officials say.
The Federal Aviation Administration is now investigating the incident.
