Twin Florida moms who met their husbands on the same day and welcomed children just weeks apart are now building houses next door to each other in Jacksonville.
The 30-year-old blondes even have golden retrievers from the same litter and work as aesthetic physician assistants at the same med spa.
Stephanie Buckman and Samantha “Sammie” Nowakowski went viral on social media documenting the construction process in a TikTok video that drew more than 7 million views.
“We’ve been neighbors, but we live like 600 feet away from each other right now,” Sammie told The Post. “It’s been three years we’ve been like neighbors, but not next door. So this just was our dream. It wasn’t close enough to be on the same street.”
“We both always just, like, dreamed of building our houses from the ground up and had a great opportunity to really build something close to work and close to our parents and really close to everything,” Stephanie added.
As if that’s not enough, the homes will have the exact same interior layout with a connecting backyard so their dogs can play. They are expected to be completed by December.
Each home will occupy about 2,900 square feet and hold four bedrooms and 3.5 baths.
The master suites will be on the first level with the other bedrooms upstairs. There is a loft area for children to play. The kitchens will feature an island and a breakfast nook.
Photos obtained by The Post give a sneak peek of what the twin houses will look like when they’re done.
Each dining room will be at the front of the home by the entrance. The garage will be in the back, completed with a front porch.
Sammie’s daughter, Maddie, is 21 months old. Stephanie’s son, Noah, was born three weeks later.
The twins tell The Post that their husbands, Jonathan and Jake, are “best friends too.”
“They hang out all the time,” Stephanie said. “So they’re really excited to just work basically together all day every day anyway. And now we’re just closer. So it’s really convenient.”
They all met on a mission trip in Ethiopia in 2014.
Born and raised in Jacksonville, the sisters say living similar lives is very normal to them.
“Mom and dad live two minutes away from our new houses. So it’s really nice,” Sammie said.
“It feels like completely normal to us. Like, just every life stage has been the same,” Stephanie explained. “We’ve just been best friends and, you know, done everything together, had the same friends. And then we just had the same interests.
“So everything we’ve done, kind of just each chapter or life has just been aligned. And it seems really normal to us, but probably funny from the outside.”
The pair are hoping that once their homes are finished, they can enlist Shea McGee of the Netflix series “Dream Home Makeover” for design help.
McGee founded the design firm Studio McGee with her husband, Syd, in 2014.
