Former President Donald Trump in a Thanksgiving message blasted the “Psycho” judge overseeing his civil fraud case in Manhattan and other “Radical Left Lunatics” overseeing prosecutions of him before the 2024 election.
Trump, 77, is facing more than 91 counts across federal, state and local criminal cases for allegedly retaining classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago estate, attempting to overturn 2020 presidential election results and paying “hush money” to a porn star before his 2016 campaign.
He also unsuccessfully sought a mistrial in a $250 million civil fraud case brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James last year, for which Manhattan Justice Arthur Engoron has already found the former president liable.
Trump has railed against the judge and his principal law clerk, Alison Greenfield, accusing them of political bias and even sharing photos the day after the trial began of the clerk while alleging she was Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer’s (D-NY) “girlfriend” — all without offering any evidence to back his claims.
He took to his Truth Social account to air grievances about the prosecutions at 2:03 a.m. Thanksgiving morning — as well as to bash his chief political opponent, President Biden, for having “WEAPONIZED his Department of Injustice.”
“Happy Thanksgiving to ALL, including the Racist & Incompetent Attorney General of New York State, Letitia ‘Peekaboo’ James, who has let Murder & Violent Crime FLOURISH, & Businesses FLEE,” he began.
“[T]he Radical Left Trump Hating Judge, a “Psycho,” Arthur Engoron, who Criminally Defrauded the State of New York, & ME, by purposely Valuing my Assets at a “tiny” Fraction of what they are really worth in order to convict me of Fraud before even a Trial, or seeing any PROOF, & used his Politically Biased & Corrupt Campaign Finance Violator, Chief Clerk Alison Greenfield, to sit by his side on the “Bench” & tell him what to do,” he went on.
Engoron previously imposed a gag order on Trump for having smeared court staff, but it was lifted last week by an appeals court after the former president’s defense team argued the move “cast serious doubt” about the judge’s impartiality.
“[And] Crooked Joe Biden, who has WEAPONIZED his Department of Injustice against his Political Opponent, & allowed our Country to go to HELL; & all of the other Radical Left Lunatics, Communists, Fascists, Marxists, Democrats, & RINOS, who are seriously looking to DESTROY OUR COUNTRY,” he said.
“Have no fear, however, we will WIN the Presidential Election of 2024, & MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!”
Hours later, Trump shared a warm video message on Truth Social, celebrating the holiday and expressing “deep gratitude” for the “many blessings” of American life and the military service members, law enforcement officials and first responders who make those possible.
“I want to wish everyone a very happy Thanksgiving. Today as we gather with our loved ones, we give thanks to Almighty God for his many blessings, including our families, our friends, our neighbors, and this extraordinary country that we all call home,” he said.
“We also send our deep gratitude to all of the Patriots serving our nation in uniform this Thanksgiving, including the members of the US Armed Forces, the heroes, border patrol, and law enforcement, ice and everybody that worked so hard to preserve our system and our country, and working to defend our southern border and our police and first responders and communities all across America,” he added.
“This is a difficult time for our country, but do not lose heart or lose hope. Because by the time we celebrate next Thanksgiving, our nation will be well on its way to being stronger, safer, more prosperous, and greater than ever before. Once again, happy Thanksgiving and God bless you all.”
The former president has surged in recent national polls against Biden, who is bleeding support from traditionally Democratic voters in black and Hispanic communities.
Trump currently leads the incumbent Democratic president by 2.3 percentage points, according to the RealClearPolitics polling average.
He is also dominating the Republican presidential primary with a more than 46 percentage-point lead, according to the RealClear aggregator.
Trump is scheduled to begin trials in Washington, DC, Miami, Manhattan and Georgia next year during the course of the GOP primary and 2024 general election cycle.
If convicted on all the myriad charges he faces, Trump could face decades in prison.
