Titans wideout Treylon Burks suffered a fractured collarbone while making a diving, one-handed catch at Saturday’s practice, per ESPN.
Burks was going for a deep ball thrown by No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward along the sideline. Though he made the catch, his shoulder crashed into the field first.
“Treylon Burks is being evaluated right now for a shoulder injury and we’ll have an update on his status at the appropriate time,” Titans coach Brian Callahan said in a statement after practice.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Titans will sign Ramel Keyton as a replacement.
Burks, the 18th overall pick in 2022, did not have his fifth-year option picked up for next season but was competing to be the team’s No. 3 receiver.
His injury, then, is far from ideal as the Titans try to integrate Ward into the offense in his first year as a pro.
Still, the Miami product will have Calvin Ridley, Tyler Lockett, Van Jefferson and tight end Chig Okonkwo as weapons.

It’s all the more important that Ward comes along quickly after Will Levis underwent season-ending shoulder surgery.
“He’s helped me in OTAs, just learning the install of everything. He’s a good football player,” Ward said of Levis this week.
“When he’s ready, when he’s healthy, he’ll have a chance at the field.”
