Travis Kelce is singing girlfriend Taylor Swift’s praises as she readies to release her new album, “The Life of a Showgirl.”
The star Chiefs tight end, 35, revealed on Wednesday’s highly anticipated episode of “New Heights” — where he and brother Jason Kelce were joined by the pop megastar — that he was “fortunate enough” to hear Swift’s upcoming 12th studio album, which will drop on Oct. 3.
“I’ve been fortunate enough to hear every single song on here,” Travis said of the album, which he described as “a lot more upbeat” and “a complete 180” from tracks featured on her most recent release, “The Tortured Poets Department.”
“Life is a lot more upbeat,” Swift replied.
The album’s release comes less than a year after Swift, 35, wrapped her blockbuster Eras Tour, which originally kicked off in 2023.
“It was everything that was going on behind the curtain,” Swift said of the 12-track album, which she likened to “lightning in a bottle.”
Swift’s previous album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” dropped in April 2024 and alluded to the fallout of her relationships with actor Joe Alwyn, whom she dated for six years, and singer Matty Healy.
Two songs, “The Alchemy” and the upbeat “So High School,” are believed to be about Kelce.
The couple has been dating since 2023, with Swift making her first appearance at a Chiefs game in September of that year.
The three-time Super Bowl winner originally expressed interest in Swift on “New Heights,” detailing how he failed to pass along a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it during an Eras Tour stop in the summer of 2023.
She cheekily thanked the program on Wednesday because it “got [her] a boyfriend.”
Swift and Kelce spent time this offseason in Florida, taking in dinner dates and the Stanley Cup Final as he trained for his 13th NFL season.
The Chiefs, coming off a lopsided Super Bowl loss to the Eagles in February, open the season in Brazil against the Chargers on Sept. 5.
It’s unclear if Swift will make the trip.
