Now that’s some true brotherly love.
Travis Kelce grabbed a fan’s cardboard cutout of his brother Jason Kelce’s shirtless appearance from the divisional round and dropped to a knee to chug a beer during the Chiefs’ parade Wednesday.
Kelce, wearing a WWE championship belt, made a beeline toward the fans situated behind a gate and grabbed the cutout of Jason’s famous look from the Chiefs’ win over the Bills.
Jason, the potentially retiring Eagles center, took off his shirt to celebrate a Chiefs touchdown during Kansas City’s 27-24 road win over the Bills.
Travis then dropped to one knee — and, no, he was not proposing to Taylor Swift, who did not attend — put the cardboard cutout in front of him and then proceeded to down his frosty beverage.
The three-time champion then returned the cutout to the fan, shaking hands with the man, before interacting with more fans as the celebration continued.
Good times are clearly being had at the Chiefs championship parade and it’s not shocking that the Kelce brothers — even if one is only there via cutout — are at the center of it.
Following the Eagles’ postseason elimination at the hands of the Buccaneers, Jason followed his little brother around the country to support him and the Chiefs.
Jason went shirtless in Buffalo, took in the AFC Championship game in Baltimore and then donned Chiefs overalls to watch them down the 49ers in the Super Bowl.
“I was like, I gotta have my shirt off at some point. But I couldn’t take it off in the box, who does that? The box is heated,” Jason said. “You’re not really doing it then.
“This is how my mind works after 40 Miller Lites … I’ll tell you what, when I jumped out of that box I forgot that I had been dealing with an MCL sprain because the moment I landed my right foot and my knee twisted and luckily it’s good. Forgot that knee was a little loose.”
Travis and Jason certainly enjoyed themselves after the Super Bowl at a Las Vegas club, with Travis and Swift serenading one another to “You Belong With Me.”
Jason, meanwhile, donned a Lucha Libre mask while dancing alongside famous DJ Marshmello.
Chiefs head coach Andy Reid warned his team to “be smart” before the parade, but no word as to whether that included chugging with cardboard cutouts of brothers.
