Carlos Alcaraz isn’t the only athlete sporting a new haircut.
Travis Hunter shaved off his hair ahead of his NFL debut on Sunday for the Jaguars, showing up to EverBank Stadium with the new look and surprising everyone as he walked into the building.
Video of Hunter walking into the stadium showed him with the new look and pausing to pose for a photo before making his way to the Jaguars’ locker room.
The new look drew a host of reactions from people on social media.
“He wanna be Carlos Alcaraz so bad,” one user on X wrote.
“The buzz cut looks clean, NGL,” another person wrote.
“I can’t explain it but he just became a Top 5 WR in the league,” a third person wrote.
Hunter had been selected No. 2 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft in April by the Jaguars and had four catches for 22 yards midway through the second quarter, before Jacksonville’s season opener against the Panthers was delayed due to lightning.
It’s been a wild lead-up to his regular-season debut in the NFL, as Hunter has gone through several life milestones.

Hunter married his longtime girlfriend, Leanna Lenee, in April, and last month, Hunter and Lenee announced in a video on YouTube that not only was she pregnant, but that she gave birth before the season.
