Well, it looks like Tom Sandoval has found a way to cope with the vitriol he’s received surrounding his months-long affair with Raquel Leviss. While performing to empty seats at a recent gig, the Vanderpump Rules star chose to laugh off Scandoval in the form of a song.
While covering the Fountains of Wayne early aughts hit “Stacy’s Mom” with his band Tom Sandoval and the Most Extras, Sandoval cheekily changed the words to “Schwartz’s Mom,” referring to his BFF and business partner Tom Schwartz.
But that’s not even the most shocking part of the viral TikTok clip.
Instead of singing, “Stacy can’t you see, you’re just not the girl for me,” the disgraced reality star sang, “Schwartzy can’t you see, Raquel is not for me.”
In another video taken by an audience member, a shirtless Sandoval — who also revealed that he’s one month sober — is heard introducing one of the band’s original songs. Along with a diabolical laugh, he tells the crowd, “The original song came out the day my phone infamously fell out of my pocket. So it kind of got buried a little bit.”
In case you haven’t been keeping up with the biggest shakeup in Vanderpump Rules history — yes, even bigger than Kristen Doute admitting to sleeping with Jax Taylor — Sandoval was caught in his lies when his phone fell out of his pocket during a performance earlier this year, which is what led to his (now former) girlfriend of nine years Ariana Madix discovering a sexually explicit video of Leviss in his camera roll.
Fans also believe Sandoval gave a nod to Leviss — who has since checked herself into a mental health facility — when he donned a lightning-bolt cladded blazer during his gig. Following news of the affair, keen-eyed social media sleuths noticed that the duo wore similar lightning-bolt necklaces — seemingly a sign of their love for one another.
In a sneak peek for this week’s upcoming episode, Leviss is seen splurging on the $780 necklace long before Scandoval ever came to light — but most definitely after the affair had already begun. With co-star Charli Burnett convincing her to buy the piece of jewelry, Leviss noted that it’s a “birthday gift” to herself.
Vanderpump Rules airs on Wednesday nights at 9/8c on Bravo. New episodes stream the next day on Peacock.
