The USWNT has a new wingman: Tom Cruise.

The “Top Gun” actor was spotted at Parc de Princes on Saturday to take in the gold medal match between Team USA and Brazil in Paris one day before he’ll reportedly rappel down the Stade de France as part of the closing ceremony for the 2024 Olympics.

It’s been a busy summer for Cruise, who sat in the Royal Box at Wimbledon and watched Taylor Swift perform at Wembley Stadium, among other high-profile appearances.

He’s been a consistent presence at the Olympics as well, including watching Simone Biles in gymnastics.

TMZ reported that Cruise will be part of the flag handover at the closing ceremonies, coming down from the top of the stadium while carrying the Olympic flag.

Tom Cruise cheered on the USWNT.

Cruise also reportedly filmed a segment for the ceremony in March, showing him skydiving down to the Hollywood sign with the Olympic flag, per TMZ.

Los Angeles mayor Karen Bass will eventually receive the flag from Paris mayor Anne Hidalgo, marking the Summer Games going from Paris to LA.

Cruise wasn’t the only celeb watching on as the U.S. tried to win its first major competition since the 2019 World Cup.

Megan Rapinoe, the former USWNT star who retired after last summer, was in Paris as well and snapped a photo after Mallory Swanson scored to put the Americans ahead 1-0.

Rapinoe, who won the Golden Ball and Golden Boot at the 2019 World Cup as the tournament’s best player and leading scorer, has been in France throughout the Olympic tournament watching her former teammates.
