NextImg:Tom Brady laughs at himself after embarrassing Pebble Beach tee shot: ‘Driver was off the rack’

Tom Brady has perhaps never looked more human.

His seven Super Bowl rings, three MVP awards and 10-year, $375 million Fox broadcasting deal seemingly all melted away Friday during his opening tee shot at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Brady took a swing and cold-topped his drive off of the first hole and watched the ball take a bounce and hardly land outside the tee box.

And in some bad luck for him, cameras were rolling, but Brady wasn’t afraid to laugh at himself either about the brutal shot.

“Driver was off the rack,” Brady posted on X with a laughing emoji while quoting a video of the terrible shot. “Turns out they don’t do breakfast balls at Pebble.”

After the round, Brady also reacted to a Johnny Drama meme on X that featured the famous “Entourage” TV show character slamming his golf club on the ground, creating several dents, after a poor tee-off.

Brady alluded to the fact that he and Drama were one and the same.

Later on, Brady, who plays with an 8-handicap, got rid of some nerves from the rough start.

PGA Tour partner Keegan Bradley didn’t win the 36-hole pro-am portion of the event, but the pair finished five shots back and tied for 20th after competing in two rounds.

Bills quarterback Josh Allen and Keith Mitchell were a part of the group as well, finishing tied for sixth.

Allen was thrilled to come out on top over Brady.

“I think that’s the first time I’ve beat him [Brady] in anything,” the Bills quarterback said, per Golf Digest. “Yeah, I wish it was on the football field, but I will take it. It feels real good.”

Defending champion Aaron Rodgers finished T-12 with Beau Hossler as Rory McIlroy and Jeff Rhodes took the title.
