Jenna Bush Hager joked that she plans to “corrupt” Hoda Kotb‘s seven-year-old daughter, Haley Joy, after Kotb threw some serious shade her way on Today over a questionable parenting decision she made.

During Friday’s (Dec. 6) broadcast, Bush Hager admitted that she and her daughter, Poppy, recently watched the new Netflix holiday movie Meet Me Next Christmas together. But Kotb expressed that it may not have been appropriate for her age.

“It’s a PG film and she is 10!” Bush Hager responded, until Kotb corrected her and noted that her daughter is actually nine years old.

“She’s about to be 10. She’s nine years old,” Bush Hager admitted with a laugh. She then told Kotb, “I decided I’m having Haley, Hope can stay innocent, but Haley’s coming over and I’m gonna corrupt her.”

Kotb laughed at the idea as she replied, “By the way, Haley will do whatever you say.”

The Today hosts then tried to segue into their next topic of discussion before Bush Hager turned their conversation back to her plan. “But I am having her over and my kids are gonna corrupt her,” she told Kotb.

“Honestly they might,” Kotb responded. “She’ll come back with eyes as big as meatballs like, ‘What happened at Jenna’s house?’”

It certainly seems like there’s always some antics going on in Bush Hager’s household. She recently revealed that her daughter secretly uploaded a video she made to Bush Hager’s Instagram account.

The video showed Bush Hager’s 11-year-old daughter Mila sharing a silly moment with her dad, Henry, as she taught him how to “rizz up mom.”

Bush Hager explained that she and her husband were shocked to learn that Mila had secretly shared the video to Bush Hager’s Instagram account. She didn’t become aware that it was posted until she started receiving messages from friends about it.

“Henry was not excited about it because he thought that was a private moment that the two of them were having,” she told Kotb. “[Mila] doesn’t have social media, there’s nowhere for her to post that. He didn’t think that was a public situation.”

She later removed the video from her social media, per Henry’s request. But she admitted that she didn’t “get mad” at Mila because she thought it was “creative.”
