Thursday’s (Aug. 24) broadcast of Today With Hoda & Jenna had the daytime duo trying out some questionable beauty trends. But one product in particular had the co-hosts cracking up.

The co-hosts were playing a round of Tool Time, which tasks them with guessing what certain beauty products are used for, such as a lip scrubber or a jawline exerciser (whatever that is.) But the fourth and final product, which looked an awful lot like a pair of velcro underwear, had them stumped.

“Oh no,” Hoda Kotb said. “Guys, don’t make us hold this up.”

As they fumbled with the product she later remarked that she hoped it “goes on your head,” to which Jenna Bush Hager jokingly replied, “I know, it looks like it could go in many different places.”

It turns out it’s actually an anti-wrinkle mask that wraps around your chin and goes over your ears.

“Oh, it goes around your ears, they’re ear holes,” Kotb stated.

“Please stop saying holes,” Bush Hager replied, sparking laughter from Kotb and the audience.

The hilarious moment comes just days after Bush Hager gave Kotb a stern talking-to for her nighttime snacking habits after Kotb revealed she likes to eat Ritz crackers in bed. Bush Hager was scandalized to learn Kotb just brushes the crumbs off of her bed before going to sleep.

“So that it’s all over your ground?” Bush Hager asked. “In your New York city apartment where little mice like to come and eat a Ritz cracker?”

For a moment it looked like she managed to talk Kotb out of her controversial habit of eating in her bedroom after she explained the risks of rodents and insects.

Kotb replied that she “actually [doesn’t] like bugs, so if there’s a slight risk of bugs, [she] wouldn’t do it.”

Today with Jenna and Hoda airs on weekdays at 10/9c on NBC.
