Hoda Kotb appears to be having the time of her life in Paris, where she and her Today co-anchors are covering the 2024 Summer Olympics.

In a recent video shared on social media, Kotb appeared to be in good spirits even as a crew member helped her staple the side of her dress together after experiencing a wardrobe malfunction. “Nothing that a stapler can’t fix!” she wrote in the caption.

The video shows Kotb holding her yellow dress in place as a crew member staples it at her waist. “Done!” Kotb says before high-fiving the crew member, whom she identified as Kaitlin Vickery. “Kaitlin to the rescue!”

For viewers following NBC’s Olympics coverage, it may be worth taking a gander to Kotb’s personal social media, where she’s been sharing some hilarious moments behind the scenes. Just today, Kotb gave herself a pep talk in a video shared to her Instagram Story.

“If these athletes can that we see on this TV are working out 365 days a year for multiple hours every single day, we can work out for a half hour. Okay?” she said with a laugh. “Today’s the day.”

Kotb also shared a hilarious photo of herself after getting caught in the rain with none other than Tom Cruise himself.

The photo showed Kotb in a rain poncho with the hood cinched tight around her face, smiling wide next to Cruise. “You know when you dream of meeting tom cruise.. and then it happens?” she wrote in the caption.

Kotb’s co-host Jenna Bush Hager reposted the photo on X, commenting, “I ask again: because I’m generously curious were you wrapped in plastic from head to toe in your dream?”

Hilarious!

Kotb has become the resident “cheerleader” for Team USA while covering the games for NBC, noting to Today that watching is like “watching lives change right before your very eyes.”

“[Gymnastics is] my favorite sport, except for I can’t watch it because I’m like, ‘Oh, God, don’t look. Don’t. Tell me when it’s over! Tell me when it’s over! Did she stick it?’” she said. “Then everyone’s screaming. ‘She made it!’ And I’m like, ‘I can’t believe I missed that moment because I couldn’t bear to watch it.’ But sometimes it’s too much to bear. You get all freaked out.”

Kotb will be covering the Olympics in Paris until Aug. 11.
