“Thursday Night Football” in Pittsburgh came with a scary injury toward the end of the game.
Titans wide receiver Treylon Burks was put on a backboard and carted off the field after suffering an apparent injury while trying to make a catch during the fourth quarter.
Burks, 23, went down the far sideline in an attempt to catch a deep pass on a fourth-and-4 from quarterback Will Levis, but he dropped the ball as he fell hard on what appeared to be his neck or back.
The game was delayed as team medical personnel attended to him on the side of the field.
He was eventually put into the cart and had his left thumb up as he was taken off the field.
Per the Amazon broadcast, he had full movement in all of his extremities and was being taken in an ambulance to a local Pittsburgh hospital.
This is a developing story.
