When Apple TV+ launched in November 2019, its catalog was made up entirely of Apple Original television series and movies.
In the years since, the service has stuck to that, producing critically acclaimed and award-winning originals, but now, a new initiative is launching with movies that weren’t originally produced and distributed by Apple.
Let us introduce you to Apple TV+ Great Movies.
For a limited time, Apple TV+ subscribers will gain access to over 50 beloved movies from the past 30 years free of charge with every subscription.
The movies included come from all of Hollywood’s major studios, and you’ll probably notice a lot of overlap between the actors in the selected movies — there are plenty of Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hanks, and Kevin Costner titles in the collection, in addition to other major hits and franchises.
The first batch of Apple TV+ Great Movies will live on the service, free of charge to subscribers, through March 31, so we’d recommend acting fast to get as much out of this collection as you can.
Signing up for Apple TV+ is easy, and you don’t have to own or use Apple products to do it. Head over to Apple TV+, make an account, and start streaming.
Apple TV+ only offers one ad-free subscription plan. It costs $9.99/month.
Yes! All new users get a seven-day free trial before payment begins. You can get extended free trials with the purchase of select new Apple products and Best Buy offers a three-month free trial to My Best Buy members.
