Tiger Woods was not asked about ex-girlfriend Erica Herman and their ongoing legal battle Tuesday during a press conference ahead of the 2023 Masters.
When speaking to the media at Augusta National, the 47-year-old Woods was not questioned on the ongoing situation with Herman, who filed a $30 million lawsuit against his trust in October, alleging he booted her from his Florida mansion using “trickery.”
It was the first time Woods had spoken to the press since news of the couple’s split was revealed in March.
Together for about six years, the couple actually split in October.
However, it was not reported until Herman was taking Woods to court in hopes of nullifying a non-disclosure closure agreement the golf legend allegedly made her sign in the early days of their relationship.
Herman claims the NDA should not be enforced in light of the Speak Out Act, which enables such agreements to be voided if there’s proof of sexual assault or harassment.
Woods blasted Herman as a “jilted ex-girlfriend” in response to her filing, according to documents obtained by The Post, which claim she has not previously alleged misconduct.
Prior to Tuesday’s press gathering, Woods enjoyed a practice round Monday with pal Rory McIlroy.
A 15-time major champion, Woods made his triumphant return to golf last spring following a horrific car accident in 2021 that nearly cost him his right leg.
Woods surprisingly participated in the 2022 Masters, a major tournament he’s won five times, and made the cut for the weekend.
“I don’t think words can really describe that, given where I was a little over a year ago and what my prospects were at that time, to end up here and be able to play in all four rounds,” Woods said last April.
“Even a month ago, I didn’t know if I could pull this off. I think it was a positive, and I’ve got some work to do and looking forward to it.”
Woods last won the Masters in 2019.
He celebrated with Herman at the time, along with daughter Sam, 15, and son Charlie, 14, whom he shares with ex-wife Elin Nordegren.
