The final movie of James Gunn‘s Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy hits theaters on May 5, but you can screen the new installment early as part of IMAX’s Guardians of the Galaxy marathon.
How? Tickets are on sale now for the one-night-only screening event, which will show Guardians of the Galaxy, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 back to back to back.
The marathon will take place nationwide exclusively at theaters with an IMAX screen on May 3, starting between 6:45 and 7 p.m. local time.
Tickets cost $50, and it’s stated to have a running time of 6 hours and 48 minutes.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is set in the aftermath of Avengers: Endgame, as the Guardians adjust to life on Knowhere. The team is sprung back into action when parts of Rocket’s past resurface, and a mission to protect him turns dangerous.
The cast of the previous movies, including Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldaña, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Sean Gunn, and Elizabeth Debicki, are all reprising their roles in the new film.
Chukwudi Iwuji, Will Poulter, and Maria Bakalova are set to make their MCU debuts as the High Evolutionary, Adam Warlock, and Cosmo the Spacedog, respectively.
Tickets are on sale now for the IMAX Guardians of the Galaxy marathon through Fandango. Once on the website, you can search for participating movie theaters by your location.
There are three ticket options: adult, child, and senior, but all tickets cost $50.
While you won’t be able to watch Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 at home for a while, you can stream the first two installments of the trilogy at home right now on Disney+.
Disney+ costs $7.99/month with ads and $10.99/month to stream ad-free. In addition to the movies, you can also stream The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, and other Marvel movies, including Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, on Disney+.
