Nearly four months after hitting theaters, Thunderbolts* is coming to Disney+.
In Thunderbolts*, five of the MCU’s misfits — both heroes and villains — find themselves stuck in a death trap designed by Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. After working together to escape, they’re forced into a dangerous mission that’ll require them all to confront the darkest parts of their pasts if there’s any hope of finding a way forward.
In her review of the film, DECIDER Senior Critic Meghan O’Keefe, wrote, “Thunderbolts* is ultimately a win for the MCU because it remembers that the characters come first before the lore.
“Florence Pugh’s magnetic presence is the energy that pulls this ragtag team together and yanks you in. Sebastian Stan’s Bucky finally takes his place as a real leader among the MCU’s massive cast of characters and Wyatt Russell brings depth and pathos to his dirtbag copycat Cap. David Harbour is in pure hilarious, bananas, embarrassing dad mode and Geradline Viswanathan is back on her scene-stealing bullshit.”
