Vermont became the final state in the northeast to legalize online sports betting this week, albeit with only three operators.
DraftKings, FanDuel and Fanatics Sportsbooks all opened their digital doors on Jan. 11, and are each offering new users in the Green Mountain State $200 in bonus bets this weekend — albeit in slightly different ways.
If you’ve already signed up for any of these apps in another state, you won’t be eligible for the new-user sign-up bonus, and you can’t create a new account since it’s tied to your identity, not just an email.
Here’s how all three promos work:
FanDuel is offering $200 in bonus bets after any $5 wager on any game. In all other states, you’ll get $150 instead of $200 if you’re a new users.
Get started by activating the offer with this module:
Bonus bets expire in seven days, and you keep any profit from those wagers, but not the bonus bet itself.
Again, if you’ve already signed up at FanDuel in neighboring New York, Massachusetts, or any other state, you can’t create a new account to get the offer. You’ll just login with your existing credentials.
Fanatics, the apparel giant, has dug its heels into the online sports betting space. One key differentiator is that it gives out its rewards in “FanCash”, which can either convert at a 1-1 rate to bonus bets, or be used at a 1-1 rate in the Fanatics store.
Use the module below to activate your offer:
With this offer, you’ll get $40 in FanCash each day you make a $10 wager for your first five days on the platform. So it’s in total a “bet $50, get $200” style offer.
If you only make a bet on three of the days for example, you’ll get $120 in FanCash.
DraftKings is offering $200 in bonus bets after a $5 wager, with no code or activation required.
It’s also giving new users a “no-brainer” bet on Saturday — double your money if there’s a single point scored in Texans-Browns. Because it’s the postseason, there has to be a point scored.
The max bet may vary depending on the user, but it could be as high as $50. So you’re getting $250 in total value as long as you remember to make this bet.
