Tired of barking orders to the family on cleaning duties? Have a machine do it for you, but not just any machine…one that has an impressive arm for mopping, can climb over bumpy terrain, and suck up dirt better than your dog.
I’ll be honest, I’m worried about robots taking over the world, but when it comes to doing the housework, I welcome it with open arms.
I look to the brand Dreame to solve my cleaning challenges, and their newest design, the Aqua10 Ultra Roller, meets my need for smart technology in practical, everyday solutions. A job I gladly hand over.
The Dreame Aqua10 Ultra Roller is the brand’s first real-time fresh water mopping vacuum and the first in the industry to pair this feature with intelligent carpet protection.
After testing several robot vacuums in my New York apartment, I can say that the Aqua10 Ultra Roller surprised me right from the start due to its strong mopping capabilities. I own a Roborock 10R, and it doesn’t scrub as well as this new Dreame design.
Not to give it away, but this might just be Dreame’s most impressive launch yet.. It’s especially great if you’ve got pets or kids constantly dirtying the floors.
With AquaRoll real-time fresh water mopping, intelligent carpet protection, and NVIDIA-powered obstacle avoidance, it feels like a genuine leap in home cleaning tech.

Pros:
Cons:
Dreame has clearly invested in next-gen navigation. AstroVision, powered by NVIDIA Isaac Sim reinforcement learning, helped the robot dodge my dog, furniture, and even stray cords. It never once got stuck. Paired with StereoEdge obstacle avoidance, the mop was able to extend into corners and clean along edges where dirt typically accumulates.
I was also impressed with the way it raised itself over thresholds and terrain. Other robots in my apartment have struggled to climb from my entryway tile onto a slightly higher wood floor, but this one handled it really well.
From October 13 through October 31, US and Canadian consumers can get an extra 5% off with code DMNYPAQUANA on Amazon and the Dreame website.

For this review, I chose to test the Aqua10 Ultra Roller on the dirtiest floor of my two-story apartment — the first floor where everyone enters, tracking in mud from the entryway and scattering crumbs from the kitchen straight into the living room. Add to that my 52-pound Mini Sheepadoodle, who loves dragging in dirt, sticks, and tennis balls, and I had the perfect challenge for Dreame’s newest launch.
The setup was easy, even for those who aren’t tech-savvy (psst, that’s me!). Through the Dreame app, I could set it to clean just the kitchen after dinner or run a full floor clean from the couch.

The dock recharges the vacuum, flushing, soaking, and self-cleaning the mop with hot water up to 212 degrees Fahrenheit, thanks to ThermoHub. That meant when I sent it out for a clean, I wasn’t just spreading dirty water around; every mop cycle started fresh, which I could actually see and smell in the results.
It also has a camera on it, which can not only spot your pet but also capture images and send you photos on the app. Albeit, a lot of them will be scared cats and dogs fleeing for their lives, but maybe yours is a strong soul and will face it head-on.
I’ve tried other robot mops before, but Dreame’s FluffRoll technology, positioned behind the roller and spinning in the opposite direction at a different speed, loosens the mop pad as it touches the floor. It reached deep into the cracks of my wood floors, lifting stains and dried-on messes that other mops had simply skimmed over.
After cleaning, the entryway, which usually looks dull from tracked-in dirt, was glossy and actually smelled fresh. That’s a stark contrast to other robot vacuums I’ve used. That’s due to the optional pet odor solution I poured into the tank.
One of the biggest pain points in my home has always been transitioning between surfaces, especially from my hardwood entry to a carpeted living area. With AutoSeal carpet protection, the Aqua10 Ultra Roller lifted and sealed the mop the moment it approached the rugs, preventing sopping-wet rugs.

The dual-solution tank was a surprising perk. I could add a pet odor remover in one round, then switch to a standard floor cleaner for everyday shine.
The Upgraded ProLeap System allows this vacuum to climb up to 3.15 obstacle inches. That’s quite a leap! And the suction power of this vacuum is 30,000 pascals. I’ve tested many others, and the top end is usually only 22,000 pascals. So, get ready for a thorough cleaning of the floors.
After testing the Dreame Aqua10 Ultra Roller in my two-story apartment, I was impressed. The combination of fresh water mopping, intelligent carpet protection, and powerful self-cleaning makes it stand out in a crowded market. If you live with pets, have high traffic, or simply want floors that feel sanitized instead of smeared, this is a robot vacuum mop worth the splurge.
And yes, while the robot didn’t manage to pick up the tennis balls my dog leaves behind, it completely erased the muddy paw stains and crumbs. The StereoEdge Obstacle Avoidance also helped avoid my curious dog, who definitely went up to inspect it a few times.
However, the motor was a bit loud for my liking, but it cleans really well, so you’re always going to have a few pros and cons with any item you buy. It’s also a bit slow observing obstacles; it takes its time to analyze a situation. With that being said, I do love the deep clean it provides and think it’s worth spending the money.

To put the Dreame Aqua10 Ultra Roller through its paces, I set it loose on the busiest floor of my two-story apartment — the entry level where muddy shoes, kitchen crumbs, and pet paw prints collide. My 50-pound mini sheepadoodle made the test even tougher, constantly tracking in dirt, sticks, and the occasional tennis ball. While the robot can’t pick up toys, it had no trouble erasing the messes they left behind.
I focused on real-world challenges: dirty entryway tiles, a crumb-strewn kitchen, and a living room rug that usually traps debris. This gave me a clear sense of how well the Aqua10 Ultra Roller handles the kinds of messes most families deal with every day.
