Bruce Rollinson was the head football coach at Mater Dei HS in Santa Ana, Calif., for more than three decades and saw some of his former quarterbacks like Matt Barkley and Matt Leinart make it to the NFL.

“My phone started blowing up,” Rollinson said Friday. “Everyone was asking, ‘Did you see that catch?’”

The catch was from Ryan McMahon in the top of the eighth inning of the Yankees’ win 4-0 over the Red Sox in Thursday’s decisive Game 3 of the wild-card series in The Bronx.
