“What Trump Could Learn From Hitler on NIH Funding.” — The American Prospect, Monday.
We say: Leftists spent the entirety of the 2024 campaign outrageously and baselessly comparing Donald Trump to Hitler, and now they want him to … copy Hitler?
In this sociopathic piece, Robert Kuttner slams the Trump team for capping overhead costs for NIH research grants, arguing that “even the Führer knew to support German science.”
Even were that true, this is beyond deranged. Note to leftists: You do not, under any circumstances, “gotta hand it to” Hitler.
“This Isn’t the Donald Trump America Elected.” — Ben Rhodes, Sunday
We say: Rhodes, President Barack Obama’s pet foreign-policy visionary, complains in The New York Times that Trump supporters didn’t put him in office to do things like dismantle USAID or buy Greenland.
Wrong: Trump’s instincts to slash government waste, reform bureaucracy and think big about America’s future are exactly why voters picked him over the status quo — and why his approval ratings are so high.
Rhodes is (as ever) in desperate need of a reality check.
“A year ago you could go days without seeing or thinking about Joe Biden. Now you’re lucky if you can go hours without thinking about President Trump.” — CNN’s Brian Stelter, Sunday
We say: Americans could go “days without seeing or thinking about Joe Biden” because his team was actively hiding him from the public (with help from lapdog journos like Stelter) to cover up his mental decline.

Maybe four years of Biden has made Stelter forget: It’s normal and good for voters to see and hear from their president regularly.
As for constantly thinking about Trump, that’s a disease the obsessed “resistance” media has given themselves.
“[DOJ dropping charges against Mayor Eric Adams] is what happens in authoritarian countries.” — Jeffrey Toobin, Monday
We say: Actually, what “happens in authoritarian countries” is the weaponization of the justice system against critics and political opponents — like Mayor Adams getting slammed with corruption charges after drawing attention to the catastrophic consequences of illegal immigration.
Or the DOJ’s years-long lawfare campaign against Trump. Or the FBI suppressing speech on social media. Strange that Toobin had nothing to say then.
