“[Donald Trump] can’t put a sentence together.”
— Jill Biden, Wednesday
We say: Huh? Is the first lady playing “I Know You Are But What Am I”?
Geriatric Joe is an international laughingstock for his mangled sentences, incoherent language, confused statements he cuts off with “well, anyway” and monumental gaffes.
His staff routinely edits transcripts of speeches he botches (a recent one had nine separate flubs-royale).
And the sentences he does manage to “put together” are often nonsensical, as when he vowed to build a railroad across the Indian Ocean.
Or when he flat-out lies, claiming inflation was 9% when he took office (it was 1.4%). No wonder special counsel Robert Hur deemed him too senile to stand trial.
We say: President Biden’s former press secretary may have been talking about claims that Team Trump got the National Enquirer to suppress stories, but she’s conveniently forgetting the biggest political-story suppression of all time.
That would be how the Biden campaign got the media to suppress The Post’s October 2020 blockbuster exposé of incriminating evidence on Hunter Biden’s laptop — on the eve of the election.
Israel Showing No Hint of Shift On Rafah / Global Anger at Strike That Burned Camp
— The New York Times, Tuesday
We say: The Gray Lady skewers Israel for an airstrike that sparked a fire at a Gazan refugee tent camp, killing dozens.

Yet the bombs actually struck a compound not near any tents; the fire most likely was the result of Hamas weapons exploding nearby.
Worse, the paper seems to think it’s a front-page story that Israel won’t halt its war on Hamas despite demands from the Times and discredited bodies like the International Court of Justice to do so. What hubris.
“[Donald Trump] wanted to tear-gas you as you peacefully protested George Floyd’s murder.”
— President Biden, Wednesday
We say: Hemorrhaging support from black voters, Biden has resorted to outright lying to them.
Witness his speech in Philadelphia about the supposed dangers they face from Donald Trump.
The truth? Philly’s “peaceful” post-Floyd protests in May 2020 involved more than a dozen stores looted or defaced, damage to an iconic statue, several police vehicles and a Starbucks set afire, projectiles thrown at cops and more than a dozen officers injured.
Oh, and plenty of cities did use tear gas during that violent summer. (Apparently, not enough.)
