Joy Behar has one famous birthday twin she’d rather not share her special day with. The View co-host ranted about being unfortunate enough to be born on the same day as Vladimir Putin, although the two have a full decade between them.

During a conversation about the contentious ongoing battle for Speaker of the House, Behar told the Hot Topics panel that Putin is likely tuning into the race, which recently saw the GOP pick Majority Leader Steve Scalise as their nominee. Scalise won 113 votes Wednesday (Oct. 11) night, while Rep. Jim Jordan earned 99, per PBS News.

Before Behar said her piece, Sara Haines warned that the heated battle for House Speaker isn’t reflecting well on the country, saying, “The world is seemingly blowing up right now, and the U.S. looks weak on the world stage because we can’t even name a Speaker of the House.”

She later added, “This division invites enemies in.”

While Alyssa Farah Griffin said she’d love to see some moderate Republicans work with Democrats if the election “goes weeks on end,” Behar jumped in to exclaim, “They have to know that Putin is watching this! That’s why he wants [Donald] Trump back, because Trump divides people. That’s why.”

She continued, “And Putin is a— is, please,” putting he hands up as if in defeat.

With a look of disgust, she added, “I can’t. I have the same birthday as him. I will not get over that.”

Behar was born Oct. 7, 1942, while Putin was born Oct. 7, 1952.

Sunny Hostin replied, “That is very shocking,” as Behar wondered, “I want to know how he could be a libra. You know, I don’t believe in astronomy, but that’s the balanced personality like moi.”

Her co-hosts swiftly jumped in to correct her, telling Behar that she likely meant that she didn’t believe in astrology, not astronomy (the study of space).

“I mean astrology!” she added, finally giving Hostin time to deliver her legal note.

The View airs weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
