Donald Trump may be facing even more legal woes, but Sunny Hostin is feeling good. The View co-host gleefully reacted to news on Monday’s show that prosecutors have added three additional charges to the former president’s classified documents case.

Trump is being accused of asking a Mar-a-Lago employee to “delete security camera footage sought by investigators probing his handling of classified documents,” per Politico.

Prosecutors have now added a third defendant to the case, Politico reports, tapping Carlos De Oliveira, who is accused of trying to destroy the security footage. He joins co-defendants Trump and Walt Nauta (another Mar-a-Lago employee) who have pleaded not guilty in the documents case.

Hostin stressed to the Hot Topics panel that De Oliveira’s involvement is not insignificant.

“There’s a huge problem,” Hostin began. “It doesn’t sound like it’s a big deal at first, but what you have to understand is, this guy Carlos De Oliveira — who was the property manager — went to the keeper of the records and said, ‘The boss wants us to erase it.'”

She added that she predicts De Oliveira will “sing like a canary” now that he’s a defendant in the case. “Once you’re faced with a federal indictment, even if it’s one charge, that’s up to 10 to 20 years in prison, and he ain’t gonna spend 10 to 20 years in prison for Donald Trump.”

Looking back on her past in the legal system, Hostin professed that she used to “love those weak canaries” when she worked as a federal prosecutor.

“Those weak canaries, they sing real, real well,” she said.

Alyssa Farah Griffin expressed doubt that De Oliveira or Nauta would “break with Trump,” noting that the former POTUS is “paying both of their legal bills.” Still, she said she would “encourage” De Oliveira to break, considering he’s facing time in federal prison.

Hostin was sure that just the prospect of time in a federal facility would be enough to sway the co-defendant.

“Let me tell you, one little visit to a little federal prison, even on the outside when you meet with the prosecutors — ’cause that’s where sometimes we meet you — he’s gonna sing like a little weak canary, just like they always do,” she predicted.

As of July 31, Trump has been charged with a total of 40 federal criminal offenses.

The View airs weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
