Whoopi Goldberg was in rare form on Monday morning’s (Dec. 4) episode of The View when she decided to derail a segment she was not a part of by rushing the stage.

During the hit daytime talk show’s recurring “View Your Deal” segment, Sara Haines and Sunny Hostin brought out Oprah Daily’s creative director Adam Glassman to help them show off the “best” beauty products, from anti-aging skincare to long-lasting nail polish.

When it came time to promote celebrity hairdresser Serge Normant’s “fabulous” haircare line, his most famous client — and Monday’s guest on The View — Julia Roberts joined the co-hosts onstage to help talk up the stylist’s products like shampoo and lightweight hairspray with UV protection.

At one point, Roberts grabbed her “favorite” dry conditioner, which she referred to as “a little wow in a can.” But before the segment could go on, Goldberg dashed out from backstage and snatched the bottle from the actress’ hands.

“Whoopi’s here!” Glassman said, before Goldberg scurried back through the set and offstage.

Roberts appeared taken aback at first; but when she realized it was the EGOT recipient, her shock immediately turned into laughter.

Goldberg’s prank was one of many silly moments from the episode. During one of the Hot Topics segments, the Ghost star spoke only in a British accent.

“Why are we getting Queen Elizabeth in this?” Ana Navarro asked, to which Goldberg fired back, “Because that’s where I’m at.”

As for Navarro, she was called out by the moderator and Roberts, who was promoting her new movie Leave the World Behind, for continually making sexual innuendos.

“This movie has an incredible cast. You’re in it, of course. Mahershala Ali — you had a sex…y scene with him,” Navarro pointed out, pausing for a bit before the last letter in “sexy.”

Roberts, who did not share a sex scene with Ali, then replied, “That ‘Y’ came late. She was like, ‘You had a sex…y scene with him.’ I was like, ‘This is gonna come as a surprise to both of us!'”

According to Navarro, she had sex on the mind because she was “in menopause.” Although, Goldberg was quick to tell her co-host, “No, if you was in menopause, you wouldn’t be talking about this, but go ahead.”
