It’s no secret Joy Behar isn’t a fan of the Trump family. Yet, on this morning’s episode of The View, she revealed that she actually once posed for a photo with not one, but two members of the Trump clan.

While discussing an image of Donald Trump and Sage Steele that was liked by Travis Kelce on Instagram, Behar drew from her own experience of being unintentionally connected to the MAGA crowd.

Behar told her co-hosts that she found a photo on her phone that was taken at a White House Correspondents’ Dinner years ago — and she was disturbed by the contents of the image.

“I was at the Correspondents’ Dinner and I posed with Lara Trump and Eric Trump,” Behar admitted, referring to one of Donald’s sons and his wife, who is now co-chair of the Republican National Committee. “I saw the picture and I thought, ‘I have to go into rehab now.'”

She swiftly clarified that the photo was taken “before [Donald] became president,” explaining, “It was the Correspondents’ Dinner, Obama was in charge.”

Later in the segment, Sara Haines teased Behar for once posing “with Trump people” while in the Bahamas, presumably when The View took a tropical vacation there in 2022.

“She might be on their Christmas card,” Haines quipped, but Behar was unbothered.

She replied, “So what? Anyone who knows me knows where I stand on this. So the picture with Eric Trump is meaningless.”

While the conversation hooked most of the co-hosts, Whoopi Goldberg couldn’t hide her disinterest. After Alyssa Farah Griffin joked, “We’re boring Whoopi” and Haines added, “She’s bored,” Goldberg confirmed, “I am.”

“It’s quite possible that none of this is important,” she said.

Behar’s response? “I certainly hope so!”

The View airs weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
